Ingredients
- Look for 1-quart cordial bottles, carafes, or mason jars with necks wide enough for adding the fruit (and removing it, if desired, after the liqueur has matured). You may need slightly more or less fr
- 1 1/2 pounds rock candy (see Tip, below)
- 1 1/2 pounds dried pears and/or apricots
- 2 liters vodka

Step 1
Divide rock candy among containers. Add fruit and cover with vodka. Seal containers tightly and let stand for 6 weeks, preferably in a cool, dark place. Serve as an after-dinner drink or drizzle over ice cream.

Makes about 3 quarts.
