Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds turnips, peeled and cut into 1/4 inch pieces
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons alfredo sauce (low fat, if available)

Preparation
Step 1
Place 1 inch of water in a saucepan; add all ingredients except alfredo sauce into saucepan.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and let simmer for 5-7 minutes or until turnips are fork tender.
Drain water; toss cooked turnips with alfredo sauce. Coat evenly.
Serve.
