Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 1 egg
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/3 c. coconut
- 1 can (5 oz.) evaporated milk
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- Cookies:
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. (24 oz.) chocolate chips, divided
- 1/4 c. coconut

Step 1
Cookies:
Cream butter and the sugars; add the eggs and vanilla next. Then gradually add the dry ingredients.
Add 2 c. chips and coconut. Bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes. Melt the rest of the chocolate chips. Frost the cookies; then drizzle with the melted chocolate.
Frosting:
Combine egg, milk, sugar, and butter. Cook and stir 10-12 minutes. Stir in coconut and the pecans.
