Marshmallows 0 Picture


  • 1 C. Sugar
  • 1 t. Vanilla
  • 1/2 C. Hot Water
  • 1 T. Gelatin
  • 1/4 C. Cold Water
  • Few Grains of Salt



Step 1

1. Soften Gelatin in Cold Water.

2. Combine Sugar and Hot Water. Boil to Soft Ball Stage (236 to 238).

3. Add Gelatin and Salt. Beat until stiff. Add Vanilla Beat Thoroughly.

4. Pour into a pan which has been dusted with Powdered Sugar. Allow to Stand until Stiff. Cut into Squares- Roll in Powdered Sugar.

5. Homemade Marshmallows, yummy.
