Cheesy Crescent Chicken

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1/2 package frozen spinach thawed and drained
- 1 medium onion diced
- 2 1/2 cups sharp shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 - 4 cloves minced garlic
- 3/4 cup cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 packages crescent rolls

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375.
Put cooled chicken pieces into large bowl.
Add spinach, onion, 2 cups cheese, garlic, soup and salt.
Mix well.
Place crescent rolls on greased cookie sheet leaving triangles of dough attached to each other.
Pinch seams together to make one large rectangle.
Place chicken mixture in center of dough, leaving margin of dough on either side of mixture.
Cut with knife from chicken mixture out to edge of rectangle.
Fold up ends of dough onto chicken mixture.
Overlapping strips of dough over entire chicken mixture making for a criss-cross effect.
Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Let stand 5 - 10 minutes before cutting.
