This is a very versatile recipe. Use with any type veggies, saute and drain them first. You can also use the flavored feta cheese.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup 1/2 & 1/2 or cream
  • 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • salt & pepper

Step 1

Beat eggs with wire whip, add 1/2 & 1/2 and cheese. *If using veggies you can put them into the pie crust first (like sauted, chopped spinach) or you can arrange on top (like sauted asparagus or tomatoes). Pour mixture into pie crust. Bake 1 hour @ 300F or until set and crust is brown.

Note: brush inside of uncooked pie crust with beaten egg white and let stand until dry, about 30 minutes. This will seal the crust and prevent it from being soggy.
