  • 4 cups (1 pound) shelled pecans
  • dash of salt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter



Step 1

Warm nuts in 325 oven for 10 minutes.

Add salt to egg whites and beat until stiff. Gradually add sugar.
Fold in nuts.
Melt butter in a baking pan.
Spread the nuts over the melted butter. Bake at 325 for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
