  • 2 pounds of your favorite ribs, pork or beef
  • 20 oz. container of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 2 large onions (sweet or yellow)
  • 1 12 oz bottle of beer (medium to dark beer)

Preparation

Step 1

Chop up or prepare your ribs how you like them, and throw them in a pot. Next, roughly chop up your onions (large chunks are best) and put them in the pot, making sure to break them up. Then pour in lots of your favorite BBQ sauce and pour your full bottle of beer. Give it a good mix and top up with BBQ sauce so that all of your meat is below the liquid level. Then throw in on the stove for 30-45 minutes.

While they're cooking, heat up your grill. After the ribs are pretty much cooked thoroughly, toss them on a hot grill to caramelize the sauce and bring out a good crispy crunch and smoky flavor for about a couple of minutes. Then dip them again in your sauce and serve.
