I placed this on a plastic serving tray and put the entire thing in the freezer till solid, then wrapped it in plastic warp. Remove the plastic wrap and defrost in the fridge.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. thin chocolate wafers (round)
  • 2 c. heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. mace
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • Grated sweet or semi-sweet chocolate, or extra cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Whip cream with sugar, mace, nutmeg and cinnamon. Spread one side of chocolate wafer with whipped cream; stick next wafer to it; add whipped cream to other side. Add another chocolate wafer; continue until you have one long log of wafers held together with whipped cream. Place log on long plate. Frost entire log (except for bottom side) with additional whipped cream. Sprinkle grated chocolate or cinnamon over log. Loosely wrap plate in aluminum foil so it does not touch sides of chocolate log. Freeze until dessert time, or at least ten minutes. Slice on the bias and serve.
