Ingredients
- 6 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. quick cooking grits, (not instant)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. grated Longhorn cheddar cheese
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. California-style garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
- 3 eggs, beaten

Preparation
Step 1
Bring 6 cups water to boiling, slowly stir in grits and salt. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until thickened. Stir occasionally. Stir in grated cheese, butter and seasonings. Add beaten eggs and stir until well combined. Pour into a 9x13 glass baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2-2 hours.
