Parmesan-Crusted Chicken with Creamy Honey-Mustard Dip 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless checken breasts, cut lengthwise into 1/2" wide strips
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Panco
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp honey

Preparation

Step 1

1 Preheat oven to 400°. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
2 In a shallow dish, combine flour and 1/2 tsp each of salt and black pepper. Add chicken to flour mixture and turn to coat. Place milk in a separate shallow dish. In a third shallow dish or plastic bag, combine parmesan, Panco, garlic powder, onion powder and oregano.
3 Salt chicken, then dip in flour and turn to coat. Dip flour-coated chicken into milk and then transfer chicken to panco mixture. Turn to coat or shake until well covered with Panco mixture.
4 Place chicken on prepared baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes until crust is golden brown and chicken is cooked through. May want to broil for last few minutes to make crispy.
5 Make dip in a small bowl by whisking together sour cream, Dijon mustard and honey. Serve chicken with dip on the side.
