Sugar cookies (not cutters)

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup wesson oil
• 1 cup white sugar
• 2 beaten eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 4 cups flour + 4 heaping tbsp.
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp. cream of tartar
• 1 cup powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

cream butter & oil. Add sugar and blend well. Add beaten eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Chill.
Shape into balls and roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. flatten with glass dipped in sugar.

Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes.
