Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pkg cream cheese
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can mushrooms, drained
  • 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

in saucepan, saute green pepper and onion in 1 tbsp butter. Stir in flour, cream corn, salt and pepper. Add cream cheese and stir until melted. Stir in whole kernel corn, mushrooms and cheese. Transfer to a baking dish. Melt remaining butter and toss with bread-crumbs. Sprinkle over corn mixture. Bake at 400 for 20 - 25 minutes.
