  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 bag cherry cordial kisses unwrapped (9 oz)
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 2 oz white chocolate (melted)

Preheat oven to 350
In a large mixing bowl cream together the butter and sugars. Add the cocoa and mix well. Add the eggs and salt and mix again. Add the baking soda and flour and mix until combined. Add the unrwapped kisses whole and the chocolate chips. Mis until evenly distibuted. Drop by spoonfuls onto a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes. Allow to cool a few minutes on the sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 2
Once cookies have cooled, pour melted white chocolate into a plastic baggie and snip off the very end. Drizzle melted white chocolate over cookies. If desired add red food coloring to the chocolate first. Allow chocolate to set up before storing in an airtight container.
