Ingredients
- Creole Tartar Sauce:
- 2 c. flour
- 2 heaping Tbs. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 1/2 c. cooked shrimp
- 3 Tbs. chopped parsley
- 3 dashes hot sauce
- Water, shrimp stock, or beer
- 1 c. mayo
- 2 heaping Tbs. Creole mustard
- 1 hard-boiled egg, chopped
- 1/2 lemon, squeezed
- 3 Tbs. chopped parsley
- 3 Tbs. chopped onion
- 3 Tbs. chopped dill pickle
- Tabasco sauce to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Mix dry ingredients. Add other ingredients except water and hot sauce. Mix well.
Add hot sauce and just enough water to form a loose dough--like thick pancake batter.
Rest 15 minutes.
Fry in 350 degree oil in ping-pong ball size. Drain.
Mix all tartar sauce ingredients together for a dipping sauce.
