Ingredients

  • ● 3/4 cup cool water
  • ● 4 envelopes knox gelatin
  • ● 3/4 cup water
  • ● 3 cup sugar
  • ● 1 1/4 cup light Karo syrup
  • ● 1/4 tsp salt
  • ● 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • ● 2-3 cups powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

1. Dissolve in 3/4 cup cool water in gelatin in Kitchen Aid mixing bowl.

2. In sauce pan mix and cook over high heat to a soft ball stage 234℉ to 240℉:
3/4 cup water, sugar, karo syrup, and salt

3. Gradually beat hot mixture into the dissolved gelatin. Beat on High for 15 minutes

4. Beat in vanilla

5. Pour into sprayed 9x13 pan. Let sit for 12 hours uncovered.

6. Turn onto powdered sugar cloth or board. Cut into squares with pizza cutter.

7. Freezes well. Makes about 65 squares
