Ingredients
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive or cooking oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans (15-oz. each), tomato sauce
- 2 cans (6-oz. each) tomato paste
- 2/3 cup burgundy, beef
- broth or tomato juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Step 1
In 3-qt. casserole place onion, oil and garlic. Microwave at High (10) 3 to 4 Minutes, stirring after 2 minutes, until onion is limp.
Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, wine, broth or juice, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Mix together well. Cover. Microwave at High (10)11 to 13 Minutes, stirring after 6 minutes, until very hot.
