I have tried dozens of recipes and this is my family's all time favorite. It makes a lot though so you might want to cut it in half.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 oz) uncooked macaroni
  • 4 cups milk
  • 4 cups (16 oz) sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups (16 oz) American cheese
  • 2 cups (8 oz) Muenster cheese
  • 2 cups (8 oz) Mozarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside. Shred all the cheese.

Heat milk in large saucepan over medium heat to almost boiling. Reduce heat to low. Gradually add cheeses, stirring constantly. Cook and stir about 5 minutes until all chesse has melted.

Place macaroni in a 4 quart casserole. Pour cheese sauce over pasta and stir until well blended. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake 50 to 60 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
