Italian Meatballs

Lucy passed this recipe down to Paul and now to our son, Gary. Lucy learned how to make this recipe from her italian mother, who in turn learned from her italian mom.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4-1 1/2 lbs. 80% lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup Milk
- Garlic powder
- salt
- pepper oregano
- basil
- grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbs. evoo
- bread crumbs

Preparation
Step 1
Add to ground beef: egg, milk, seasonings.
Mix all of the above, then add bread crumbs. Add enough bread crumbs to make mixture sticky, not too dry.
Knead mixture vigorously (this helps salt extract proteins for binding.
Let rest for a few minutes.
Roll meatballs by hand and place into sauce to cook. Or, can fry.
