Ingredients

  • 6 apples, cored, cut into halves
  • 2 Tb. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tb. chopped pecans
  • 2 unbaked 9" pie shells, cut into 12 wedges
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water

Preparation

Step 1

Place apple half, brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans on each pastry wedge; seal. Place in a 9x13 baking dish. Bring sugar and water to a boil in saucepan; pour over dumplings. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
