A place where ideas grow

Chocolate buns are some of the best things I know. Especially warm with a little butter, yum! These buns do not take long to make. They are super light and airy – as a real chocolate bun should be!

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Dissolve the yeast in a bowl with the sparkling water. Then add the butter, eggs, sugar and salt and stir well. Get in the spelled flour, and then 1 cup of flour at a time and the last cup gradually. When all the flour is stirred in, chop the chocolate and mix in. Let the dough stand covered  in warm place and rise for 1 hour.

When the dough is rised, turn on the oven – hot air about 210 degrees C. Make 2 baking trays with baking paper ready.

Put some flour on the table and pour the dough out. Fold it together and part the dough into 18 pieces. Form them into buns and place on the tray, 9 on each. Brush with a little milk and into the oven for 8-12 minutes, until golden. But keep your eye on them, it may well be your oven is a little different than mine!
