Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 – 15 oz cans black beans, drain and rinse
  • 1 1/2 c panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c minced green onion
  • (1 t chili powder, 1 t cumin, 1/2 t salt, 1 T veg oil)
  • 6 toasted hamburger buns
  • Shredded lettuce, sliced tomato

Preparation

Step 1

In a food processor, combine beans, panko, green onion,
chili powder, cumin and salt. Process until smooth. Shape
mixture into 6 patties. Heat oil in a lg skillet over med. Add
patties and cook 3 - 4 min per side. Serve on toasted buns with
lettuce and tomatoes.
