Easy and delicious!

Use a combination of butter and veggie oil for frying, not olive oil. It has too strong a flavor and too high a heat level, they will burn.

Ingredients

  • For frying:
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (fresh grated or shredded)
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 Tbls parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 2 Tbls butter and 2 Tbls veggie oil

Preparation

Step 1

Stir together first 9 ingredients. Add the crab meat and mix well. Shape into patties.

Melt butter in skillet with oil. Fry patties over medium heat until golden brown.

Serve with sauce of your choice, hot sauce, and fresh lemon wedges.
