Ingredients
- Simmer, strain, and cool:
- For the Turkey broth;
- 5 cups chicken broth
- Turkey trimmings, neck, and giblets
- For the Gravy;
- Cook in Turkey roasting pan; stir in:
- Turkey drippings
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Whisk in:
- Turkey broth
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1
Simmer broth, trimmings, neck, and giblets from the turkey for 20 minutes
in a large saucepan over medium heat. Strain and cool; discard solids.
Cook turkey drippings in roasting pan over medium heat until bubbly.
Sprinkle in flour and stir until it darkens slightly, about 2 minutes.
Whisk in cooled broth and vinegar, simmer 5 minutes, then skim off any
fat from the surface. Keep gravy warm over low heat until ready to serve.
