Ingredients
- 1 package of active dry yeast
- 2 1/2 C. flour
- 1/2 C. butter, cold
- 1/2 C. warm water
- 3 Tbs. cream
- 3 Tbs. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground clove
- 1 tsp. ground ginger

Directions
Prepare water and yeast mixture according to package. Mix 1/4 C. butter, cream, sugar, egg, 1 C. flour, cinnamon, clove and ginger. Add yeast mixture and mix well. Combine remaining butter and flour. Knead well. Place in fridge overnight. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Separate dough into 4 sections and knead each section. Cut each section into pieces and shape into a cresent. Place on sheet. Beat egg and water in small bowl. Brush crescents with egg mixture. Bake crescents for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
