Ingredients
- GLAZE:
- 2 tbsp. butter, softened
- 1 can (10 oz.) Hungry Jack Flaky, Buttermilk Flaky or Butter Tastin Flaky Biscuits
- 1/3 cup light com syrup
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups chopped, peeled apples
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. whiskey (optional)
- 1/2 cup pecan halves or pieces
- 1/3 cup confectioners sugar
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 to 2 teaspoons milk

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Using I tbsp. margarine, generously grease bottom & sides of 9 in. round or 8 in. square pan. Spread I cup apples in prepared pan. Separate dough into 10 biscuits; cut each into 4 pieces. Arrange biscuits pieces, point side up, over apples. Top with remaining apples. In small bowl, combine remaining butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, com syrup, whiskey & egg; beat 2 to 3 min. or until sugar is partially dissolved. Stir in pecans; spoon over biscuit pieces. Bake 35 to 45 min.or until deep golden brown. Cool 5 min. In small bowl, blend all glaze ingredients until smooth; drizzle over warm coffeecake. Store in fridge.
