Ingredients
- 1 pound cannelini beans, use canned
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 28 ounces diced canned tomatoes
- 9 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 pound shell pasta, box dilatini or small shells
- 1 cup parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oil in pan add onion and garlic and saute. Add tomatoes and boil. Cover and reduce heat for another 10 minutes.
2. Add beans, water, red pepper, bay leaf. Remove 1 cup of the bean mixture and puree..then add back. Cover and cook for about 30 minutes. Add the rest of teh spices and then the pasta and rest of garlic.
3. Cook unitl the pasta is done.
