Ingredients
- 1 lbs. ground chuck
- 1 lb. ground sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 c. salsa
- 5 cans whole chilies, drained (12 fresh)
- 2 c. grated Swiss cheese
- 2 c. grated sharp Cheddar
- 1/3 c. cornmeal
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. hot sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Cook meats, onion, garlic. Drain. Add salsa.
Cut chiles lengthwise; remove seeds. Place 1/2 in a 13x9"dish; add 1/2 meats, then 1/2 cheese. Repeat. Sprinkle on the cornmeal.
Combine flour and eggs. Add milk, salt, and hot sauce. Pour on the cornmeal.
Bake at 350 degrees 35-45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Garnish with sour cream and cilantro.
