Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup good white wine
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1/4 cup green peppercorns in brine, drained
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons whole grain mustard
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in pan
Over medium heat, whisk the flour into the fat in the pan and cook for 1 minute.
Add the wine, chicken stock, mustard, and green peppercorns.
Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 5 to ten minutes.
