- 1/2 pkg. (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix (about 2 cups dry mix)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup cooking oil
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Step 1
In bottom of ungreased 8-in. square dish place dry cake mix. Add egg, vanilla, oil and water. Stir with fork until smooth and creamy. Sprinkle chocolate pieces over top. Microwave at High 7 to 9 Minutes. Serve warm or cool with ice cream or thawed frozen whipped topping.
