Ingredients
- 1 C. Butter,
- softened
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 2 C. Flour
- 1 C. Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1 C. Chopped Nuts
- 10-12 Hershey Bars,
- NO NUTS

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350º.
Cream the butter, sugar and the egg yolk
till light and fluffly.
Add the baking soda, flour, brown sugar,
vanilla and salt. Mix well.
Spread dough over large cookie sheet,
pat down with fingers. Bake 15-20 minutes.
While still hot, put hershey bars over dough.
Return to oven for 2 minutes, remove form
oven and spread melted chocolate over dough
with a spatula. Sprinkle the nuts over the
chocolate. Cut into squares while STILL WARM.
Serves 40.
