Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 cups milk, scalded
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Step 1
1 Beat eggs slightly. Add sugar and salt, the slowly stir in scalded milk , then vanilla. Strain mix into pastry shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
2 Bake on lower shelf of a 420° oven for 25-30 minutes or until custard is firm.
