  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • Dash ground cloves
  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck beef
  • 3 slices day-old bread, cubed
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 6 very thin lemon slices

Step 1

In small bowl mix together ketchup, brown sugar, dry mustard allspice and cloves. Set aside. Mix together beef, bread cubes, egg, lemon juice, onion and salt. Place 6-oz. custard cup in center of 10-in. pie plate. Spread meat loaf mixture into flat ring around custard cup. Spread half the reserved sauce over loaf and arrange lemon slices on top. Cover with plastic wrap and vent. Microwave at Medium High (7) 19 to 21 minutes, rotating dish 1/4 turn after 10 minutes. Let meat loaf stand 10 minutes to firm before serving. Remove plastic wrap and spread remaning sauce over loaf.
