  • 2 large Granny Smith apples (peeled and cored)
  • 2 10oz cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 12 oz mountain dew (or diet)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease 9x13 baking dish.

Cut each apple into 8 wedges. Separate the crescent rolls into triangles.

Roll each apple wedge up into the crescent roll starting with the smallest end. Pinch to seal the ends and place in the baking dish.

In a small saucepan, melt butter and stir in sugar and cinnamon. Pour over the apple dumplings. Pour mountain dew over the apple dumplings.

Bake for 35 - 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
