Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon, sliced and diced
  • 1 large Onon
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 cups milk
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
  • 12 hard boiled eggs
  • 2 cups shredded swiss cheese (8 ounces)
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbs minced fresh parsley

Preparation

Step 1

1 In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove with slotted spoon to paper towel. Drain, reserving 1/3 cup drippings. In the drippings, saute onion until tender.
2 Stir in flour, salt and pepper until blended. Gradually stir in milk and bring o boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
3 Remove from heat. Spread 1/2 cup sauce in a greased 9 x 13 pan baking dish.
4 Layer with four noodles, 1/3 of the eggs and bacon, swiss cheese and white sauce. Repeat layers twice.
5 Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
6 Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until bubble. Sprinkle with parsley. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
