Sharon's Chicken Marsala

Better than any Italian restaurant. It's the sweet Marsala wine that is the key.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken Breasts (cut in 1/2)
- 2 to 3 TBLS Olive Oil
- 1/2 C Flour
- 1 lb Button Mushrooms (sliced)
- 4 TBLS Butter
- 1 to 2 C Sweet Marsala Wine (Columbo)
- 2 TBLS Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 Garlic Clove (crushed)
- Salt & Pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Place flour, salt and pepper in a shallow bowl. Dredge each chicken filet on both sides in flour mixture. Saute filets in a large frying pan that you have preheated with olive oil for 3 minutes on each side until cooked. Remove to plate and prepare mushrooms and sauce.
Melt butter in saute pan and add sliced mushrooms. Add sweet marsala wine (use 2 C so you yield more sauce) to mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes to reduce alcohol. Add lemon juice, garlic and rest of butter. Cook for 1 minute. Pour mushrooms and sauce over chicken and serve.
You can serve with or without Pasta. I like it with Fettucini.
