Ingredients

  • Large batch: Small batch in parenthesis
  • 1 gallon Ketchup (2 Cups)
  • 6 cups of Cider Vinegar (3/4 Cup)
  • 1 1/2 cups Worcester Sauce (4 Tablespoons)
  • 16 Teaspoons of Salt (2 teaspoons)
  • 8 Teaspoons of Tabasco (1 teaspoon)
  • 1 1/2 Cup of Mustard (3 Tablespoons)
  • 1/2 cup of lemon juice (1 lemon)
  • 1 box light brown sugar (5 Tablespoons)
  • 8 sticks of butter (1 Stick)
  • 16 garlic bulbs chopped (or one tablespoon of Garlic powder) (2 Garlic bulbs)
  • crushed red pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Melt the butter and the mustard first, being careful not to boil. After it is melted, add the remaining ingredients except for the crushed red pepper. Let it simmer, the longer the better, DO NOT BOIL. then add your crushed red pepper to taste.
