Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 jar of spaghetti sauce
- 1-2 beaten egg
- 1 (15 Oz) container of Ricotta Cheese
- 1 (15 oz) container of cottage cheese
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese shredded
- 2 packages of sliced mozzarella cheese (or 1/4 block sliced)
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- Lasagna noodles uncooked or cooked, either is fine

Preparation
Step 1
Brown the meat with the garlic and onions and salt and pepper. Drain well.
Add spaghetti sauce and the seasoning and 1 cup of water. Simmer about 15 minutes.
In a separate bowl mix together the ricotta and cottage cheese add the beaten egg blend well.
Spray a 13x9 pan with pam and add 2/3 cup of sauce to the bottom. Layer a strip of noddles longways take care to not let the noodles touch the sides of the pan, spread 1/3 of the cottage and ricotta cheese mixture on top of the noodles, then add a layer of mozzarella slices, add 1/3 cup of sauce to the top, continue layering until finished end with sauce. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on top.
Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours.
When ready to bake remove from refrigerator and let stand while preheating oven to 350.
Bake for 45 minutes to an hour, remove foil and bake 15 more minutes. Let rest 15-30 minutes before serving.
