Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 package fresh mint
- 1 quart strawberries, divided
- 1/2 cup Zinfandel
- 6 peppercorns
- 1 t fennel seeds
- 1 cardamom pod
- 3 T sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Bring the cream to a boil and immediately submerge the mint
Cover and remove from heat to steep for 30 minutes
Cool, discard the mint and set aside
Bring 1 pint of strawberries to a light boil with remaining ingredients
Simmer for 30 minutes
Cool and discard the spices
Slice 1 pint of strawberries
Divide cooked and sliced strawberries into 6 martini glasses
Pour minted creme over each and garnish with remaining mint leaves
