Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- Pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbls. sugar
- 2 tbls. melted butter
- 1 cup milk

Step 1
Combine ingredients. Heat well and let batter stand for 2 hours covered in refrigerator. This allows air bubbles to escape and makes thin, crisp rosettes.
Dip iron in hot (370 degree) fat then into batter up to but not covering edge of iron. Fry until golden brown. Drop and drain. Store in air tight container. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
