Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teas baking powder
  • 1/4 teas salt
  • 1 tblsp vanilla extract
  • 1 (12oz) pkg semisweet chocolate morsels
  • (Garnish with 3 (1oz) squares semisweet chocoalte, melted and drizzled)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 13x9in baking pan.

2. In a medium bowl, microwaver butter on high for 45 seconds, or until melted. Stir in brown sugar. Add eggs, stirring to combine.

3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to butter mixture, stirring well. Stir in vanilla. Add chocolate morsels, stirring to combine. Pour mixture into pan, and bake for 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool completely before cutting. Drizzle with melted chocolate, if desired. Cut into squares to serve. Store in airtight containers.
