Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 t baking powder
2 1/2 cp flour
1/2 cp currants or raisins
Pinch of salt

Preparation

Mix well and pour into greased cake or muffin thins
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar
Bake 20 minutes in quick one of 400 degrees
