Desserts:Vanilla Pudding

Ingredients

• Meringue:
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 t salt
• 1/4 cup flour
• 2 cups milk
• 2 eggs or 4 egg yolks
• 2 t vanilla
• 2 egg yolks
• 1/4 cup sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Add sugar, salt and flour in a saucepan and stir in milk
Cook over medium heat until it comes to a boil
Boil 1 minute
Take off heat and stir over 1/2 mixture into 2 beaten eggs or 4 egg yolks
Blend into hot mixture and bring to a boil
Cool and add vanilla
Meringue
Beat egg whites until they hold a peak
Add sugar
Cook at 375 degrees until done
