Ingredients
- Topping:
- 2 1/4 cups sifted flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 t soda
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup diced dates, unsugared
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 2 T grated orange rinds
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup powdered sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Sift dry ingredients
Stir fruits and nuts
Combine beaten eggs, milk, oil
Pour into dry ingredients, stir until mixed
Pour into well-greased 10" tube pan
Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees
Let stand in pan until lukewarm
Remove to rack placed over wide dish
Combine orange juice, powdered sugar, pour over warm cake
Spoon any juice that drips into dish over the cake
Refrigerate 24 hours
Serve with whipped cream
Will last over a wee
