Preparation

Step 1

Rub ribs with liquid smoke and spices on each side. Place on large cookie sheet or broiler pan. Turn oven on to broil, (500 degrees), broil ribs on top rack for 5 minutes on each side (this will seal in juices). Then turn oven down to 250F. Wrap ribs in heavy duty foil and place back in pan in the oven for 4 hours.
Have grill ready. Take ribs out of oven and place rib-side down (meaty side up) on the grill. Lather the meaty side of the ribs with BBQ sauce and grill for about 8-10 minutes on medium heat (or longer on a lower-heat grill - sometimes the medium grill is too hot and grease fires flare up). Be prepared to remove ribs with a spatula from the grill because the meat will be falling off the bone. DELICIOUS!!!!
NOTE: If you don't have a grill, then just take ribs out of pan and lather them with BBQ sauce and return to a 500 degree oven uncovered for approx. 8 minutes per side.
( I think these are better when cooked one day and grilled the next. They hold together better and make for a very quick dinner)
