Ingredients

  • ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SEASONINGS:
  • 4-5 pound beef brisket
  • 1 onion
  • 1/3 cup sweet red wine
  • 1-1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 onion soup packet
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary

Preparation

Step 1

Line roasting pan with foil.

Slice onion and line bottom of pan.

Add water and red wine.

Place brisket in pan and add all seasonings.

Sprinkle onion soup packet on top.

Fold foil tightly over top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours, turning every 30 minutes.

Slice brisket, re-cover and bake another 60 minutes.
