This was one of the first recipes I ever learned to make. My mom used to make it when I was a small child.

Meatballs w/Mushroom Gravy 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lean Hamburger
  • 1 Brown Onion (sliced)
  • 1 1/2 lb Button Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1/2 C Worcester Sauce
  • 1 Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/2 Can of Milk (pour into soup can)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat large skillet on medium high. Pour soup into bowl and add milk to can. Scrape down any soup and slowly mix milk with soup. Set aside.
Shape hamburger into meatballs and begin to cook. Pour worcester sauce over meatballs. Add mushrooms and onion and saute with meatballs. When meatballs are browned pour soup mixture into pan. Cover and simmer for approx. 30 minutes. Stir often so that mixture does not boil over.

Serve with Mashed Potatoes.
