Ingredients
- 1/4 cup unbleached all purpose flour
- 1 t baking powder
- 1/4 t salt
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup thinly sliced dates
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour, combining powder, salt, nutmeg
Beat eggs until foamy
Add sugar gradually until thick and lemony color
Stir in flour mixture
Fold in dates and walnuts
Bake in 6 oz buttered custard cups 3/4 full
Place in 9x13x2" with water as high as pudding in cups
Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until brown and crusty
Turn out on wire rack
Cool and serve with whipped cream
