Ingredients
- Filling:
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 3 tbsp butter
- loaf white bread, decrusted and hardened
- 1.5 top sirloin, thin and pounded
- 1/2 can chicken broth
- 1/2 C pine nuts
- 1/3 C raisins
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1/4 C milk
- 1 egg
- Sauce:
- olive oil to coat bottom of pan
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 can tomato sauce
- 1/8 tsp red pepper
- 1 tsp bail
- 1 tsp parsley

Step 1
Sauce:
Pour olive oil to coat bottom of pan. Add garlic to pan and saute until aroma develops. Pour in tomato sauce. Add basil. parsley, salt, pepper, red pepper.
Filling:
Saute onion in butter. In bowl, add crumbled bread and onion mix. Heat chicken broth. Add 1/2 the broth to the bread mix. Mix egg with milk and add to bread mix. Bread mix should be soppy. If not, add more heated chicken broth. Season with salt & pepper. Add pine nuts, parsley and raisins. Flatten meant and add mixture on top. Roll up meat and secure with string. Add to pot of sauce. Simmer on low for about an hour and serve with pasta.
