Preparation

Step 1

1. Add each of the dried spices to a bowl and gently stir.
2. Store in a resealable plastic baggie or small ball canning jar with tight fitting lid in your spice cabinet.
3. To make the ranch dressing, whisk together 1/3 cup mayonaisse with 1/4 cup milk (more or less depending on the consistency you want) with 1 Tbsp of the homemade ranch dressing seasoning mix.
4. Season with salt, to taste. Use immediately and can refrigerate for up to 3 days.
5. Makes about 4 Tbsp worth of mix. Or use the ratios above and mix up however much you’ll need!

****You can add 1 Tbsp to 1/3 c. greek yogurt and 1/4 c. buttermilk to make a No mayo version of Buttermilk Ranch Dressing – healthy alternative :) Also use 1 1/2-2 Tbsp to 8 oz low or non-fat Sour Cream for a great dip!

****Or use this to make some dip for a party… prepares a large quantity though… use half the recipe mentioned above, 16oz sour cream, 12oz mayo, and some salt if needed

****If you’re vegan or sensitive to milk, you can make a killer dip using cashews. Just soak raw cashews in water overnight, then purée in the food processor. Add this seasoning (and a little water to thin, if necessary), and you’ve got an amazing rich dairy-free ranch
